F-Gas Legislation
F-gas Regulations are European Regulations that are directly in force in all EU Member States. They apply to all companies who install maintain or service stationary air conditioning, refrigeration or heat pump equipment.
In accordance with the Regulations all personnel carrying out works on RAC (refrigeration & air conditioning) and heat pump equipment have to either hold a City & Guilds 2079 qualification or an equivalent qualification at category one level. All Kelly RAC engineers hold a current 2079 qualification.
It is now a legal requirement for all businesses with stationary RAC (refrigeration & air conditioning) equipment containing more than 3kg of refrigerant, to keep records of their equipment and what function the equipment is performing.
