Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Operations Manager to manage
day-to-day functions of our company. The right candidate must be ready to run
the complete operations of our business and model a great company culture,
provide inspired leadership to our team. Also establish a great working
relationship with the business owner and set a course for the company
operational strategy. This position will be based from our HQ in Ennis but will
have responsibility for the Dublin office also and will require travel between
the two offices.

Conditioning Companies in Ireland with offices in Ennis, Dublin & Galway We
supply, install and service a wide range of Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and
HVAC systems to meet the high specifications of manufacturers
We are the largest installer of Daikin Air Conditioning Equipment in
Ireland. Agents for Panasonic Air Conditioning equipment and sole agents for
Tecnair Close Control Units as well as servicing a wide range of equipment from
other manufacturers.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide inspired leadership company
wide.
- Make high-level decisions about
policy and strategy.
- Develop and implement company staff
policies and a strategic operational plan.
- Evaluates work load and schedules
work in a way that best utilises manpower and maximises profits
- Help with sourcing, recruiting and
selection of new staff members when necessary.
- Create an environment that promotes
great performance and positive morale.
- Oversee the company’s ISO, Health and
Safety and Staff Training Requirements.
- Work with customers, suppliers and
contractors to ensure operational excellence.
- Work with senior stakeholders,
financial officer, systems officer, and other executives.
- Ensure all legal and regulatory
documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
- Build alliances and partnerships with
other organizations.
- Take responsibility for the
day-to-day operational management of the entire company.
Candidate Requirements:
- Engineering Background required
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree
in a relevant discipline or MBA.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a
senior operational management position.
- Ability to build consensus and
relationships among executives, partners, and the workforce.
- Understanding of human resources and
personnel management.
- Experience with management and
conflict resolution
- Strong organizational skills with
ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Experience with corporate governance
and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to understand new issues
quickly and make wise decisions.
- Ability to inspire confidence and
create trust.
- Ability to work under pressure, plan
personal workload effectively and delegate.
